By using Jikoreel (jikoreel.com), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
What Jikoreel provides
Jikoreel is a browser-based tool for recording short videos, applying a background effect, and generating a shareable link. Recording and background processing happen in your browser; Jikoreel's servers are only involved once you choose to upload a finished video for a shareable link.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Jikoreel to record or share content that is illegal, harassing, defamatory, or that infringes someone else's rights, and not to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service (including excessive automated requests). We may suspend access for accounts or links found to violate this.
Your content
You retain ownership of the videos you record. By uploading a video to get a shareable link, you're granting Jikoreel the limited right to store and serve that specific file back to anyone with the link, for the purpose of the service working as described — nothing more. See our Privacy & Content Policy for how content is handled, including automatic deletion after 60 days.
Payment
Videos under 45 seconds are free. Longer videos, up to 3 minutes, require a one-time payment per link as shown at checkout. Hiring teams may purchase credit packs for multiple candidate video requests. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details on refunds.
No warranty
Jikoreel is provided "as is." We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, and background blur/replacement is an automated best-effort process that may not be perfect in every recording condition. We're not responsible for how a shared link is used once you distribute it, or for the content of any video you or another user records.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Jikoreel isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including lost opportunities related to a job application, proposal, or hiring decision made using a Jikoreel video or link.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above will reflect the most recent version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
